Couldn’t be more blessed to know of this place. The staff is so incredibly kind and hard working and the food has never failed to be perfect. I’ve tried over half the menu and have never been disappointed with the food or the service. The live music and karaoke nights are so enjoyable and the atmosphere is the best.
We love taking the golf cart to this spot on the weekends for breakfast! My favorite is "the holder" and the wife likes the breakfast bowl with sausage added. 🔥
What a lovely find! We love coming to Homosassa a few times a year, but just tried this restaurant for the first time and what a happy find! Looks unassuming from the outside, but wow, lots of personality on the inside! Service was great, food came fast and delicious!! We had wings for appetizer, meat with lots of flavor. For the main course, I got the grouper sandwich blackened and it was delicious, so tender and tasty! Hubby got the French dip and was thoroughly pleased. We will be back again and would definitely recommend!
We are new in town celebrating my husband's birthday.What a great place the food is excellent.The music is great.Love the inside Christmas lights.Everyone is so nice highly recommend and we will be back
Stopped by while we were in the area to kayak. The Christmas decorations are left up all year long making it feel fun as soon as you walk in. We visited on a Monday and it was .75 c wing night. The wings were cooked fresh with your choice of over a dozen sauces and dry rubs and they were served hot right out of the fryer. We also tried the house made chips with our choice of seasoning.(many to choose from), they were crisp and delicious. That staff were all very friendly and attentive. And the place was buzzing and busy with locals and tourists. We will definitely go back when we drive through again! This is worth a stop if you are looking for a casual, fun, up beat place for a beer and some food.
First time eating food from the Old Mill Tavern. I saw previous Google reviews about how good the hot wings were so my friend and I decided to try some while in town. I got 10 hot and she got 10 mild to go. The wings had good flavor. The hot sauce was a classic Buffalo style. My hot wings were drenched in sauce while my friend’s mild wings were kinda on the dry side. What irks me is that out of my 10 wings only 2 were flats and the other 8 were drumsticks. I should’ve ordered all flats because that’s really what I enjoy. The drumsticks were just too large but that is my opinion. We called in our order and Monica was friendly over the phone and in person. I asked for one ranch and one blue cheese and they were placed inside the styrofoam with the wings. When I got back to the house (a 7 minute drive maybe) and opened the container I went to pick up one of the dressings by wrapping my fingers around the edge of the lid and it had warped from the heat from the food and caused the dressing to fall and spill all over my wings which I did not want dressing on 🤦♀️ I was picking it up to hand to my friend. Her dressing cup also was warped from the heat. Cold things don’t belong inside hot containers. But again just my opinion. Still giving this place a five because the parking, inside atmosphere, menu selection, service & flavor of the food were all good 👍 Next time I’ll order all flats and ask for the sauce to be kept outside the container. Also this place seems steadily busy just based on the cars out front, so it must be pretty good.
Love this restaurant! My Grandmother owned this restaurant from 1957-1962. It hasn’t changed it’s an old time treasure ! Love the food , my favorite is the Grouper Sandwich! Great bar and outside seating for those beautiful sunny days! We always stop in when we visit our Mother!! Highly recommended!!

Cool dive bar with great food. Went on Thursday for .70 wing night. It was a busy night, but the servers were great - super friendly, attentive. Karaoke was going on outside seemed like it brought in great customer!
So we were actually on our way to another restaurant down the road and it was so crowded.We could barely get through the road.So we had seen this place on the way, and I said, let's just turn around.And go stop there. We walked in the back way through the patio, and I asked someone else that was there.If we had to be seated, if we could just sit, they said, go ahead and sit.But let someone know you're out here.So cool. So keith went in to let someone know, thank you so much and came out with menus, so we looked at the menus for a while, and someone finally came to guard bring quarter, and then our server came. VERY PLEASANT DUDE THEY HAD BEEN VERY, VERY BUSY AND HE WAS STILL SMILING. It seems to be a place for the locals going get together.And i'm sure is a lot of fun!
